Freeway Official Sites Policy
The goal of this policy is to encourage the localised use of Freeway and foster a country/state/city communities on local sites closely linked with the Freeway Project.
To encourage these official sites, these benefits are available:
- Use of the Freeway logo
- Hosting the official local Freeway language pack
- Hosting the official national postal shipping extension for Freeway
- Organising official local Freeway events
- First release of some Freeway information
- Link from the openfreeway.org site
In return, the Freeway Project requires the official sites to clearly identify themselves as a local site clearly linked to the Freeway Project. Official sites cannot be commercial in nature and cannot be sponsored by a company.
Acceptance as an official site will be at the discretion of the Freeway Team. To apply to become an official site, send an email to the Freeway Team.
Further Policies will be added over time. The Freeway Team reserves the right to change policies as needed.
